Eat Right was founded by Mr Derrick Ong, an accredited dietitian of Singapore.

In 2010, Derrick had a vision.

Working as a dietitian in a local hospital after returning to Singapore made him realize that nutrition and dietetic services were more concentrated at the hospitals and polyclinics.

Another worrying issue was the low health literacy level of Singaporeans. Believing strongly that “prevention is better than cure”, Derrick hopes to equip the public with the knowledge and power to make healthful decisions.

Derrick’s vision is to allow dietetic services to be readily accessible at a community level, as well as to promote health and nutrition to the public. Hence, Eat Right Nutrition was born as the first step to make his vision a reality.
